Monastery Founding.

Abbot Benedictus sat in his study,he was reading through one of the early writings of Abbot Anselm Augustus founding father of the Monastery of Repentance. Abbot Benedictus had been a monk for almost 40 years and loved every moment he spent he quiet contemplation and of course administering what was termed The Discipline to those who visited the monastery to repent their errant ways. The Abbot looked at the list of names on his table,all boys and girls who wished to feel The Discipline and be cleansed of their errant ways. The Abbot viewed everyone who came to him at the monastery as sinners,sinners who needed to be punished,’Whip their flesh to save their souls’,was a favourite saying of the monastery’s founder,Abbot Anselm.Abbot Benedictus read the account of the punishment of Isabella and Casio,two very wealthy young Spaniards in the fifteenth century at the hands of Abbot Anselm. Abbot Anselm had come across Isabella and Casio ‘in a passionate embrace outside the bonds of marriage’ and after spending sometime in quiet contemplation Abbot Anselm sent for Isabella and Casio. When the two young wealthy people came before the Abbot Anselm he had already decided on how he would punish them;he would whip their naked bottoms. The Abbot ordered Isabella to undress from her waist down and stand behind a screen which the Abbot had erected in his study.While Isabella was busy undressing with the help of a nun,Abbot Anselm turned his attention to 19 year old Casio. He brought Casio to the end of the room and ordered the boy to undress from his waist down. When Cassio’s bare bottom was exposed the Abbot took a belt and belaboured Cassio’s bare bottom;20 lashes with the belt at the hands of Abbot Anselm saw Cassio’s bare bottom ‘… change to a horrid red colour and display a number of welts….’ The Abbot then ordered Cassio to kneel and repent his sins.

After a short time the nun who was helping Isabella to undress told Abbot Anselm that,’ My Lady has is ready for her chastisement my Lord Abbot’. Abbot Anselm went behind the screen and was met with the site of Isabella bending over the back of a chair,’…her naked posterior in clear view and ready to receive chastisement….’ Abbot Anselm began to use the belt on Isabella,she too received 20 ‘…hard lashes which turned her posterior a dark,angry red colour. She cried throughout her chastisement,but I knew her tears were false, for Isabella while having come from good stock is nothing but an 18 year old harlot underneath her clothes of finery…’

As Abbot Bendictus read the account of the ‘Chastise of Isabella and Casio in the year of our Lord,1603’, he felt quite excited. He wondered what it must have been like,how did Abbot Anselm feel;did he feel sexually aroused as he himself did today spanking and caning the bare bottoms of naughty boys and girls. However Abbot Benedictus smiled at the thought that a girl today did not need help in undressing,the girls of today were always scantily clad and in a moment their bare bottoms were exposed for the Abbots pleasure and his cane. The Abbot looked at his list again/The first punishment of the day would be given to a young couple by the name of Siun and Oliver.
